Mark Carling

Mark joined SNC-Lavalin as Director of Rolling Stock within the Rail and Transit business in January 2016. He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and has over 15 years’ experience in the industry, with the majority within rail. Mark commenced his career with Bombardier in the UK before moving to Faiveley Transport, a global rolling stock component manufacturing and service business, in Australia. He spent almost nine years with Faiveley Transport, serving as the Regional Managing Director for more than six of those years. Following a short absence from the rail industry, Mark joined SNC-Lavalin where he now heads up the Rolling Stock business, delivering technical and project management consulting services across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
